Search in many fields

I remember seeing a tutorial or extension that would allow to search within
many fields in a database. If someone has the link it would be very useful.

Tom Muck has an excellent Dynamic SQL search extension, it is commercial
and costs $25, it is also worth every cent. It also includes
highlighting the search words in the results etc.
