well since im a complete noob on tags... (reason I started DW)
I guess I will have to learn eventualy...

So its not possible in design mode, is it....?
I made a page containing scrollbars in design mode but if I look at that code,
what you guys offered is not there,
I assume its entwinged in DW's design itself and not editable unless you work
in code mode

In design mode you cant see the scrollbars, you just have to assume they are
there,
If I implement those tags, I probably need to re do the page....?

o.O, im suchha noob on code...
I used to do basic, tried hexadecimal and went insane, trew the book out of
the window
that was 1985, working on Commodore and Spectrum...

anyway thx

Just change to code view, and you'll spot it. Have no worries.

created a scroll but cant seem to alter its colour, not able to find it in

There's a lot of crazy stuff in the bible, but I don't think it talks much
about web development. Or do you have a more modern updated version? ;o)

As for colored scrollbars, before doing it, do consider the fact that this
can be a usability issue for a lot of people. The scrollbars are part of the
end-user's browser, not technically part of your site. Many would suggest
you don't style them at all.

Yes. And it means that by redefining the body tag for the scrollbar, you
will not see the style applied.

Not necessarily. A page with the broken DWMX doctype will validate, but
it will still throw the browser into quirks mode.

The broken doctype validates? Really?

Do most of you guys realize your answers are, to me, complete off topic. Not to
yourself I presume...
Im very new and most of your replies... I cant make head or toes of it...
Dont take me wrong, I appreciate al the help I can get.

If scrollbars are end user ((by browser) defined) then I guess its best to
leave them as they are
Its just that the background of my site is black, dont mind the scrollbar
"cursor" but I do mind the white ( or greyish) bars

I have been looking for a simular code like what ZhongQiang was so nice to
offer, but cant find it, if I could I could alter it and see what results it
would produce....but I cant see it in the coding.

would appreciate any more help here very much...

regards
