Script help

Hi,

I would love to replace a graphical counter -- see upper right of http://www.saveamericorps.org/ -- with a dynamic numeric display. The number I need, "http://www.PetitionOnline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?mr5qv367", is dynamically generated and displayed on a remote site, embedded in the html of the page.

I am not a programmer. Is there some (relatively easy) way I can get that "Total Signatures" number off the remote site and then display it on my html page in place of the counter graphic?
