Save command disabled

I have run into a problem a few times where the save command on the file menu
becomes disabled after saving. "Save as" and "Save all" still work. But save
does not. On a few occasions, the problem seems to resolve itself with time
and "Save" becomes enabled again, but other times it does not, even if I close
the program or reboot. Any one know what's going on or what the fix is?

save will work when you make a change on the page. if you have nothing
changed on the page then save is grayed out.
