Safari Cache problems with Flash in DWMX?

I have a flash site created in DWMX. A button on the page in flash pops up a new window, containing flash navigation to choose between different quicktime movies sizes. I make a selection, the movie plays fine. I close the pop up window, and select the button again...but Safari won't open the pop up (or any other pop-ups from other pages) until I clear the cache. When I clear the cache, and select the button - but don't play the movie - I can close the popup, and reopening with the button works.

This doesn't happen in Explorer.

And ideas?

Safari is version 0.6 or something like that so except it to have bugs or certain features behave abnormal under certain conditions. If you want something more robust, use netscape 7.2 or mozilla 1.5, most people would say IE, but I dont care and test my site on IE, even considering 90% of browser market is IE. If your site works fine under the latest mozilla, you should be ok.
