Default runtime error with jump menu - 08-02-2004 , 04:39 AM

Hi,

I am having a problem with a Jump Menu.

The problem is that when using the Jump Menu to jump to another part of the
page and then use a back to the top image and then jump again to the same
section of the page, a runtime error appears. I have never had this problem
with earlier versions of dw.

the runtime error message is:
'options' is null or not an object

it then points to a line of code in the Jump Menu javascript:

function MM_jumpMenu(targ,selObj,restore){ //v3.0
eval(targ+".location='"+selObj.options[selObj.selectedIndex].value+"'");
if (restore) selObj.selectedIndex=0;

the line it refers to is the line begining eval

I was wondering if anyone knows how to solve this ?

thanks in anticipation...

What is the URI to the page. The error message is a red herring in that it
directs you to boilerplate code, when the error is actually in your HTML.

Paste your page's body code into a reply, then.

The answer is always in the code. I cannot even remotely guess where that
might lie....
