Default rollover without link or mouse pointer? - 07-30-2004 , 11:27 PM

Is it possible to make a text link rollover and change colors without setting a
link? When a user passes a mouse over a bit of text, I would like the color to
change. Additionally, I do not want it to be a link, AND I want the cursos to
stay as an arrow. i can accomplish this much, but when I try adding anything
else I get nothing. zilch. I ALSO want to have a disjointed rollover--another
bit of text to appear on the screen. if i can just accomplish SOME of these
the client may go for it.

thanks for any info.

Yes. It's the same.

The forum actually has two interfaces: one web-based, and the other NNTP
based. Posts to either are mirrored to the other by Macromedia wizardry.
Posts to the webforum appear on the webforum and the NNTP forum instantly,
while posts to the NNTP forum may take 20 minutes up to several days to
appear on the webforum. Since most of the questions are posted from the
webforum, and most of the answers are posted to the NNTP forum, it can be a
little frustrating to continue seeing the impatient posted pleading for
responses when you already know that the post has been answered 5 times.

thank you. if you think my post was answered five times, then i apologize. i
kept running into wall after wall and i felt very lost down the list of new
postings--plus i thought my postings were appended/slightly different. anyway,
i apologize and appreciate everyone's help.
