rollover problems... -

Hi first a little history on my problem.... i created my website in Photoshop
then sliced it in Imageready, which then created my .htm and image folders...
everything worked perfectly...website was done.. taadaa!!! then my boss threw
in a wrench in the gears....he said the ISP wants everything in one folder....
well.. after about a week and a half trying to figure out how to do that.. with
some help of some friends i got it... all i did was go to the site box and made
sure my files didn't have the same names( here comes the problem) when i was
changing the names... most of the files asked me if i wanted to update, i
clicked yes, the only ones that didn't ask were the rollover images. Sure
enough when i loaded up the website, i could see the site, linked worked, all
was good in my world.. whoooo whooooo!! then i rolled over the rollovers and
where the rollover was soppose to be... all i got was a white box with an X in
it ( using IE for browser)
i have tried to add the rollovers manuely but for some reasons its not doing
it right.. when i add the rollover, it pushes the rollover to the side and
extends the image to the right of the screen so instead of 5 tabs i now have 6.
i have tried to do it with the swap file button nothing... also... i tried to
do it in layers.. but for some reason the table and layers buttons are greyed
out ( using the Dreanweaver30 day free trial)
so question one...what did i do wrong while updating the "Site Box" is there a
way for me to just update the rollovers"
question two... what did i do wrong creating the rollovers so that it shifted
everything to the right and creating an extra tab
question three... why are my table and layers buttons greyed out i have pulled
up the site in its different views and they still remained greyed out...
i really need some help, i don't know dreamweaver well enough to feel
comfortable like i do in photoshop so any and all help will be much
appriciated. thanks in adavance! |
