Default Rollover Images - 08-09-2003 , 12:24 PM

After going through the group it appears my problem don't compare to other
but.....

I'm rewriting all my websites from Net Objects Fusion to DW4 and their are
some HUGE disadvantages I am running into, I know it's a leaning curve and
I'm not ready to jump ship.

Is their and an EASY to do rollover images? I have 5 images I want to
continually change while the page is active.
Doesnt sound hard but......I've tried a couple of 4 star extensions and they
make it to the second image
then stopped. I dont want a mouseover I want this to work with onload.

Thanks in advance!

So what you want is a rolling image swap? You can do this with a) a
javascript roller (I am sure that there is an extension for it on the MM
Exchange), or b) a timeline that simply swaps to a new image after a certain
time.

In either case you would open the page, select the body tag on the
QuickTagSelector, and apply the requisite behavior.

Just FYI, what you're describing isn't called "rollover images". "Rollover"
refers to a change happening when the mouse pointer moves over the image..

Paul Davis has a great extension for this at http://www.kaosweaver.com,
Professional Random Images, well worth the small cost. You can see an
example of it in use here: http://www.savannahgetaways.net.

Hope that helps.

By the way, you can set the changes to any speed you want - my client wanted
them pretty slow. There are a lot of other options too.

Patty,

I checked out your site and that is exactly what I am looking for (rotating
images). I downloaded from MMX and can't seem to get any of the to be
stable and work properly. I will look on this other site and see what they
have to offer. It came package with NetObjects....seems pretty standard
this it would come with DW.

Thanks for the tip and link!!!!
