Repair CS3 Installation problem...

I need to repair my CS3 installation and am running into a weird issue
that I cannot figure out. I go through the set up wizard where you
can select the programs/components to reinstall and get a prompt to
put disk 1 in drive E:\...

Thats the problem, drive E:\ is my external HDD, drive H:\ is my CD
drive... why would it be asking me to insert the disk into my External
drive and not the CD drive? Any ideas how to get this corrected?
