Default rename dreamweaver site - 11-07-2004 , 11:22 AM

Can I create a site in dreamweaver mx 2004, export it and have my students
import it and rename it so that they can get on with other things? I have tried
the obvious stuff like trying to import files and folders, but it is not
playing ball. Any ideas?

the export/import site buttons in the Edit Sites dialog box only exports the
Site Definition. It doesn't export the assets of the site. And as said, it
will export Your computer's path to the Local Site Folder.

You also have to copy over or put the actual folder that IS the Local Site
Folder on the student's computers.

Hi Folks,
Sorry to interupt, but if export/inport only handles the definitions, and as
defining a site is so quick/easy, why not just dole out the complete site in
its own folder to all the students first off. Gets them used to the site
definitions dialogues if nothing else.
Sure I've missed the point somewhere...
