Remove template from a page

I saved my template copy as a template instead of a plain old page. I need to
do some testing of PHP code, but (of course), I don't want all of my
dreamweaver pages updated because they have the template copy page I need to
test. I did a "save as" to create a seperate page for testing, but the
template is still on the page. How do I remove the template from just one page.
