I use a free DW extension called Tag Stripper 2.1 by Massimo Foti. Removes any kind of tag from the body of the document. Handy if you want to get rid of unwanted tags, like <font>, in just one pass. Works on multiple files or an entire site. |

You can download the extension here. Go to Productivity http://www.massimocorner.com/ |

I'm getting a lot of text from people that has odd formatting in the text. Some have "Illegal quotes" while others have unwanted returns. Currently, I'm dropping them into notepad but I'm having to delete the returns out of the text. Is there a tool or technique that is commonly used to remove formatting? |
