Default Relative Links - 11-20-2004 , 12:33 AM

I'm completely new to Dreamweaver MX. I am designing my new site and creating
links to the various pages, but clicking on those links don't take me to
specified pages.
Can anyone tell me why the links are not linking?
Do I have to be in a different mode?

You are clicking on them in DW? They don't work in DW's design view.

How are you making the links? Manually entering the href? Browsing to and
selecting the target file?

Hi Murray.
I believe I'm creating the links properly (clicking on the image and choosing
an address in the link box in the Properties bar).
When I worked with PageMill, I could click on a link and it would take me to
other pages in my site to which I was linking (while working offline). Is that
not possible with Dreamweaver?
I know in PageMill I had to be in a non-edit mode to do that, but I can't
figure out how to do it in Dreamweaver.
Thank you for your help. :confused;

Ah, you say it can't be done in DW's design view. How do I get into another view that will allow me to link?
Or is that not an option in DW?

Hit F12 to preview the page in your primary browser (or CTRL + F12 to preview in an alternate browser). Then, click away to your heart's content.
