Hi Y8z,
What you are looking for is a formmail script. There are pleny of free
mail scripts available or you can create your own rather easily. There are
plenty of tutorials that show you step by step. The first thing you need to
find out, is what your web server supports...ASP, PHP, PERL, etc.? It is
also possible that your web hosting company has a form mail script that you
can use. Some do, some don't?
I host on a windows 2000 server box, and the form mail script of choice
that I use is CDO.Message with ASP. I don't have a link right off hand, but
if you do a google search for "form mail tutorials" or "CDO.Message
tutorials" or the like you should find plenty of tutorials. I'll take a
look and see if I can find you a good one and post back.
I also believe there are some dreamweaver formmail extensions that make
it really easy to implement. Someone here might have a link to the
extensions or just do a search for "formmail dreamweaver extension".
Hope this information helps you out.

Hi there just wondering if anyone knew of any guides or ideas as how to do
the
above. I want to create a form that the site visitors can fill in the
details
they choose, hit the submit button and off it goes to whatever email
address I
specify. I know its probably something really simple to the experts out
there
but not really done anything like this before so if you have any ideas
just to
give me a kick in the right direction or a link to info that would be
great,
thanks.
