A URL is a URL. Whether your site is plain web, WEBTV oe WAP matters not.
So, you can use a standards address.
There are browser detectors that can tell you what our visitor is looking at
the page with. See Browser Hawk for one of the better detectors. Some ISP's
include the Hawk as part of the basic package.
Once detected there are behaviors (Check Browser) and Exchange modules to
set up to switch the visitor to a different page or CSS file. With ASP and
NET buffer caching will let you switch to the new page/css without
downloading the full vanilla page.
You will see some of the bigger kids change to a different server (e.g., go
from www.mydomain.com to something like wap.mydomain.com). One does not have
to switch servers/domains.
Handling WEBTV and WAP is just designing for multiple browsers.

Do I need a special address, like Vodafones http://live.vodafone.co.uk or
can I just use a standard address?
