Did you patch the new versions?

You can return the upgrades for full refunds.

Our shop had upgraded and bought several copies of MX 2004. the mac folks
threw the sowftware outt about an hour after loading it, the pc folks (me
included in that list) had a better experience but most of us have also
reverted to MX. $2,000 in upgrades that are basically worthless to us.

The machine I have is an AMD Xp 2700+ w/1 gig of ram and it's not usable.
Switching between applications usually results in a 10-15 seconds delay
for
dreamweaver to refresh the page and catch up. If you happen to have
multiple
development apps open at once, forget it.

This is completely unacceptable.

Anyone who ha been a MM user and has followed the way they have been
going
with their product quality/support will tell you they've nearly driven the
product line into the ground.

They've created convoluted upgrade/support/purchase packages and tried to
sell
us hype rather than substance (Flex). They've really ignored the
programmers
by dropping great products (Homesite+, Coldfusion Studio) expecting us to
use
Dreamweaver as a replacement.

I understand that OSX is a different architecture and the programmers
that
used to develop for 9.x ned to retool their skills a bit to get up to
speed,
but for them to drop the ball on the PC side is unacceptable.

Until then, Dreamweaver MX is what I'll use with most of my time still in
Homesite+
