I am using Studio MX 2004 on Mac OS

do a Find for
Dreamweaver MX 2004 Prefs

that is a plain text file, containing all the site definitions, and all the
preferences and serial info for dreamweaver on macintosh.

on osX, it should be here-
Boot hd: Users: YOU: Library: Preferences

make a copy of it, and park it away.
Or make a copy in place, but name it .bak or something.

There is a Prefs file for the Admin, and for Every User who has started dw
on that machine. The admin file doesn't contain the site defs (unless you've
been using dw while logged in as Admin)

Thanks for that info. Unfortunately, those are the exact files I have been
trying to restore from two different backups, but for some reason they are not
working.

So either there is something else I need to do or my backup files are not
viable for the site information I am seeking.
