suggestion- if you have a specific problem with a specific page- please
describe the problem and give the url address to where you've uploaded the

hi.
my website looks fine on my computer after i upload it but it doesnt look
right on most other's computers. I designed the site in DW using allot of css.
I upload it and even when I refresh it and delete my cookies, etc. on my
computer it always displays correctly. I use IE6 and Maxthon with no problem.
On at least 3 other peoples computers however, it does not display correctly.
they all use IE6 also but there is no layout for them . its just my links and
images seamingly randomly on the page. Its not at all when I designed! What am
I doing wrong?? it works on mine!

Hmm. I can see the post... when I first posted it I got an error telling me
there was an "overflow" or something so I tried reposting it and on MY computer
it shows that I posted 4 times in a row... Can you read this post? I hope so.

No one but you CAN see it properly since your stylesheet is pointing to your
hard drive. This is what it says:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="file:///C|/Inetpub/wwwroot/emx_nav_left.css"
type="text/css">

Assuming your CSS stylesheet is in your root directory, change this to:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="emx_nav_left.css" type="text/css">

and you should be okay.

Oh, and make sure you upload the stylesheet. It doesn't appear to be on your
web site now.

I dont know how I did that!. The CSS is in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot and the site's
root is in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\site so what do I change? I tried what you
sugested but I am still having problems.

The style sheet is outside your sites root directory. That's why it was
linked to your computer. Move the style sheet inside your site's
directory structure, re-link it to the page, then upload the page and
the style sheet.
