I'm curious why you are doing this -

Why isn't the onLoad call enough?

I'm also curious about why you used so little of the available space for
your menu options?

Finally, I'm curious why all the content on your page is in a graphic?
That's not so SE friendly....

a) didn't notice that there were 2 calls for the autohide there, thanks for
catching that. not really sure how that got in there....

b) honestly, this is a really small company and there weren't a lot of options
for the menu. that's about all i could come up with on my own (i'm not part of
the networking side, so i don't really know a lot of the info i could use to
fill it out more specifically). the contents of the menu will probably change
once my boss and the other techs have a few free moments to go over the site
and info on it and all that and give me some more direction. right now, i'm
just the web monkey in the back corner doing my thing.

c) the only actual content that's in a graphic is on the main page....that's
simply because i'm too hung over this morning to get the table layout right, so
i just make a quick graphic to toss up on the home page so i could get it up
for feedback. the rest of the content is all text with graphic sidebars.

i'm working on it more today, but my head is pounding, so i don't know how
much i'm going to get done today. bleh.
