I have a SubmitForm called a 'jobcard' with many fields.
One of the fields is a DateFormat field (ie. the date the job was

Then I also have a 'reprots' page. This is a Master/Detail page set,

? How can I PROMPT(or force!) the user to input(or select) a [Date
FROM] and a [Date TO], so that only the jobcards for the specified
period is displayed.

Maybe some kind of a Filter ?
But the user must have the option to view(report) for any! given
start/end dates.

Any ideas would be most welcome.

First of all, you're not going to get many (if any other) replies here if you
post from usenet - most users of this forum can't see usenet posted articles.

Your question is a bit vague, but it sounds like you need an additioal query
form with two date fields. Validate the form to make sure the user enters
correct date formats. Then use the dates in a between predicate to get the
results they want.
