have no idea what the "send a comment" does- if it shows up someplace on
some page or sends an email or ?.

no way to sort it out from the info you've given

Assuming you are inserting the "send a comment" stuff into a database, are
you doing something to associate it with the user it's being sent to?

Assuming there is a place where the info is retrieved and displayed- Are
you doing something to retrieved only that user's comments?

you login in and go to MEMBERS LIST then click on a user and it takes you to their detail page, at the bottom is a SEND COMMENT TO THIS USER, fill it out and send comment then.... THAT user should've received a comment from the user who sent it (YOU). But if you go to VIEW PROFILE and then COMMENTS you also see the message you just sent to that user, and the SENT FROM part is not working properly either?!

As Alan has stated, it's rather confusing what you want to happen and
what is actually happening. However, the problem and solution both lie
in your ASP code, which is not visible in the browser.

yes comments are sent to a seperate table in the database and I want each single user to retrieve their own PRIVATE COMMENTS, something to do with filtering the ID or session variable?!
