Hi every all,
I haven?t been here for a while, but I know there are some cool people in
this forum.
I need help with something beyond my poor coding skills.
I have set up an html page using Dream weaver MX for PC. I am using I frame
scrolling gallery from thumb pics the usual thing. When you click on the thumbs
this opens up a new popup browser window, with image and text info.
I soon learnt that in order to make this work effectively with my large
collection of images, and to cut down on the number of links and code, I will
need a clever <a> tag in the form of, either Java Script or even maybe us to
use ASP, not that I know too much about this. Correct me if I am in the wrong
direction I am newbie.
I came across this website which uses a modified java code I think!
This example is exactly what I need, but I can?t work out how they did it.
Please if you have a little time go to http://www.jimlangansfurniture.com if
you click on the relax navigation bar at the top and browse there products
section, click an image and a pop up window from the scrolling thumbs gallery
will appear.
Can any one shed some light on how I can create the same effect, to show off a
large selection of images and product information like they have done? I need
something that creates an update in my browser each time a new thumb nail is
clicked.
I know there must be an easer way than using a behavior linkage; this would
take me for ever. I need to update product info/text/ images either in the same
pop window or in a new one when the old one is closed.
Hope that makes sense, the website shows it off perfectly but I am not sure
what I am looking for in the code, to see how it?s done.
Please please anyone with some knowledge on what I need or a pointer in the
right direction would be great.
Many thanks in advance to anyone who gets back to me, would really appreciate
any help.
Thanks
