First, the main banner is TOO wide....900 pixels is going to do that to you. Second, you have to break your banner into different sections via a table. a. the 2 people can be one cell(this needs to be smaller) b. the name, "the Wings Foundation, Inc. can be another (that needs to be a lot smaller as well) c. the red /blue strip can be another cell that works with the 2 people THIRD, you have to set up your pages with tables that allow for variable widths, Fourth, check out the example web sites here that allow for web page to automatically adjust for the browser width. http://www.decloak.com/Products/Dreamweaver/NestedTemplates/ This is a somewhat more than you asked for, but you can download the site for FREE and see the code yourself and how the pages auto adjust. dc decloak, Inc. http://www.decloak.com/ __________________________________________________ ___________ Multi-Navigation Templates and Menus http://www.decloak.com/Products/Dreamweaver/NestedTemplates/ Tongues of Fire Multi-Lingual Templates and Menus http://www.decloak.com/Products/Dreamweaver/NestedTemplates/Demos/NestedT_Tongues_of_Fire/ (...every man heard them speak in his own language. I have had several people comment that my site is just too wide and they have to scroll left and right to see the whole page. My question is how do I avoid doing this in the future when building HTML pages ??? Also, can I EASILY resize the pages that I've already built so that they easily fit into any browser or screen regardless of the screen size ??? If so , How ??? Thanks....I really need to find this out asap ! P.S. I'm using DW 3....."the old school." Thanks gang....and if you want to take a look at my site to see what I mean its: http://www.wingsfoundation.com GRACIAS IN ADVANCE ! Jay in Dallas |
