If you browse to and double click on dreamweaver.exe, it starts as expected,
right?

Where is the shortcut pointing?

Linsey:

Do you get this when you select dreamweaver.exe, right click and choose
Open? I'm still not tracking what exactly is happening for you.

Please follow these instructions -

1. Start > Search > All Files and Folders > All or part of the file name:
dreamweaver.exe > Search
2. When this file is found (it should be in C:\Program
Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver MX 2004), double click it.

What happens?

It means that you do not have Dreamweaver installed on that hard drive.
