I just learned how to set a layer so that it will appear where i want it in relation to a centered page, but if the page is resized for any reason the layer stays fixed in relation to the absolute zero point, rather moving along with the element i fixed it to. How do I fix this? |

i found a site that had a tutorial implementing specialized behaviors that they had for download. i don't understand how it all works, necessarily, |

it's the Snap Layers by PVII, V2.65 extension. it claims that it works for resizing windows, so i have no idea what the issue may be. i already went on to another approach, so i don't have a page i can show you with my attempt. i'd still like to figure this out though. if it will help, i can create a mock-up page as an example, but if the extension is bunk i guess it wouldn't matter. |

The extension works beautifully if you use it right. |

My question is why do people even buy that? |
|
I know how to center layers using CSS alone, without needing any sort of "snap" scripting. |

But you didn't just have this knowledge fly into your brain. 8) |
