My client has hired a translator to translate a site that I've developed
already. The site is .html and .asp ... a couple of databases behind.
The translator wants all the text from me in word docs, no styles,
scripts,
macros, nothing...straight text. I don't have any of the content in
word docs.
What do I do? |
is the code dinamic? does it reside on a database?
If not, I'll use the Opera browser and is great handling CSS. I will just
go to Opera's author mode which detaches your site from any css content,
then activate the 'Disable Tables' style and the rest would be copy paste
on OpenOffice.org and save it as a doc.
If yes, then I'll just copy paste from a query of the text, or within a
CVS output.
