OK, I posted about this before, got no response, and it's still driving me crazy. WHY, when I publish a webpage in Dreamweaver, do the changes appear within seconds on my Mozilla browser, but 10 minutes later, after clicking RELOAD/REFRESH on my Internet Explorer browser, the old page is still there???!!! This doesn't make any sense to me. Reload means reload, right? |

If you haven't done this already, try changing your Exploder prefs so that you check for a new version every time you visit a page. In Exploder 6 on a PC, go to Tools: Internet Options: Settings... (under Temporary Internet files), then click the first radio button. In Exploder 5.2 on a Mac, go to Explorer: Preferences: Advanced (under Web Browser) and make sure the radio button for "Always" under Cache is clicked. Don't *think* you'll have to restart for the change to take effect. Hope this helps. |
