Two things now happen:

-Image does not show when inserted into AP Div (shows red x)
-Outline where image should be is still "in-line" with the table instead of
"overlap" even though the #wrapper is now visible in design view.

Ideally, I would like to have the right side of the image 3/4 of the way
overlapping the table, and the bottom of the image 2/3 of the way overlapping
the table.

Being in a div does not affect whether an image will display. If it's not
displaying then your path is wrong.
