Pete, If I could take a look at the page you're working on, may be able to provide a bit of feedback to help you achieve the desired results. You may be able to place a transparent shim gif in the table cell where you now have your DIVs and use SnapLayers to position the layers relative to the shim. Can't give specific help though without seeing your page. Please provide a URL. -- Karen Boyle PVII Support http://projectseven.com/ |

I have the same sort of problem where the layers "jump" when the page is first opened. URL http://diademinc.com/rocabella/properties.htm |
|
Still trying to finish the design. This is my first time using the scrollers and layer snap. |
|
Thanks, arlie OT: Sorry to see that projectseven.com is still off-line. |

Hello Arlie, "arlie" wrote: I have the same sort of problem where the layers "jump" when the page is first opened. URL http://diademinc.com/rocabella/properties.htm You can make your layers (positioned DIVs) hidden by default and use AutoLayers to make them visible onLoad. AutoLayers is available from the Macromedia website http://macromedia.com/exchange > Dreamweaver (Categories) DHTML/Layers. If you then click onto the word "Name" in the column headers, the list will sort alphabetically and AutoLayers is easier to locate. Still trying to finish the design. This is my first time using the scrollers and layer snap. First effort? Doing good, Arlie, doing good. Thanks, arlie OT: Sorry to see that projectseven.com is still off-line. So am I :-( -- Karen Boyle PVII Support http://projectseven.com/ |
