Hi again,

I realised the problem, i was being an amateur!! Where I had defined my frames instead of having the frameset cols value set to 210,* I had 210,537 so obviously it was keeping the second frame at 537 and at a higher resolution it had to expand one of the frames... sorry about that!

....but I am very interested in finding out how to do this page structure without frames...

Cheers,

Harvey

If you want to ditch the frames, yet have a navigation menu(built-in
breadcrumbs) that lets user know where are when going from page to page,
check out our product, Nested Templates and Menus?

http://www.decloak.com/Products/Dreamweaver/NestedTemplates/

It has an instruction manual that walks you through the examples and is
specifically written to what you are looking for: navigation menus,
templates, up/down
state, AND complete automatic updating of sites, INCLUDING multiple
languages.

Check out the Kappa example for a 50 /50 horizontal and vertical menu.

Anyway, its got a FREE download. Why don't you give it a look?
