Here is one of my pages http://www.leoearle.com/simeon2/sites/01.htm. I've just checked it + it definitely doesn't work with IE.

IE already has that space for the scrollbar there.

In IE if you go to http://www.leoearle.com/simeon2/sites/animation.htm and
click on intro in the top left and then click on animation in the top left of
new page you can clearly see that the page's centre jumps between the 2 pages.
Maybe your version is different? leo

I have IE 5.2 for Mac. Is it a Macintosh problem? leo

Yes. You could try making it html, body { min-height:101%; } and see if
that helps.
