Re: DWMenu_File_Close error

Here are the steps to reproduce this error on my computer:

1. Open Dreamweaver
2. Press Ctrl+W to close default template
3. Press Ctrl+N to open new template
4. Press Ctrl+W to close new template

Now, there were no other programs outside of Dreamweaver running when these errors and application crash occurred. So, I thought about the only thing I had changed since installing... I had added the latest xhtml DOCTYPE tag to my NewDocuments for .CFM and .HTML templates! Also, I noticed that when I opened a new template with this DOCTYPE Dreamweaver automatically added an <?xml?> tag to the beginning of the file.

So, here is my solution to this issue:

1. Close Dreamweaver
2. Restore all NewDocument templates
3. Restart Dreamweaver

Now the problem never occurs!

So, my question, how do I force Dreamweaver NOT to modify documents by adding <?xml?> to the beginning?
