Problem is now, when I try to synchronise a folder I can't - the option has gone.

I could in MX and the notes folder wasn't needed.

Any more ideas?

You're right. The reason for that is that prior versions of DW would set
the timestamp on local files to match the timestamp on the remote files
on files you upload. MM got a lot of complaints about DW resetting the
timestamps on local files, so they change it to store synchronization
information in the _notes folder. So, while this is clearly not what you
want, it is in response to customer requests.

So what you are saying there is no way to get rid of the notes folder if I use the synchronisation option in DW8?
