Re: dw 2004 update?

Does anyone recommend the 2004 update? or does it have too many bugs
in it to worry about?

DW MX 2004 as originally launched was not worth it IMHO due to too many bugs
and they removed the Timelines features (if you ever use it, which I don't).

However, Macromedia has since brought out the free 7.0.1 updater and that
has worked wonders on DW MX 2004 in my view. It's faster and more stable and
they restored the Timeline feature after a chorus of complaints from those
who DO use it.

Why not download the free 30 day Trial version of 7.0.1 (it'll now download
with the updater included) and try it out for yourself before purchasing?

PS what are the specs of your computer? check you meet the minimum
requirements.
