Well, all I can say is that I've tried on a Mac at work with MX2004 and a PC at
home with MX. I started a site using local image links. Everything displayed
fine & dandy. Then I switched the code so that all links were absolute (all
images had been uploaded to server already). Sure enough, all images
dissappeared. Lastly, I went in and entered the path to the server where the
files were posted in the 'HTML Address' field of the site manager, and presto
- images are back in the design view. Try it. I'd be curious to know if it
doesn't work this way for others.
