You need to be using a mail program such as outlook
there is two good papers on this www.dwfaq.com » Tutorials » Miscellaneous » Sending Html Email.html and the other is the url below

Hi Thanks for the responses. I checked both URL's you recommended and get "specified server cannot be found" can you double check the address is correct ?
www.dwfaq.com is down due the host has been suffering a DoS attack. It's
supposed to be up wihtin a day or so. Keep an eye on threads about "CW"
or "Chicago Webs" in this forum...

As for html mails, first consider this:

1) Many mail clients and central mail servers have "spam-traps" and
you're running the risk that your mail will be trapped and never
viewed/reaching the recipient.

2) Many mail clients can not show html mails

3) Download time will increase dramatically

4) html mails are disliked by many recipients, and is thereby plain
bad-will and countering the purpose of themselves.

5) Best way is to send a regular plain text (ASCII) mail with link to a
website/webpage.

However, if you still want a html mail, do like this:

1) Create a page in DW with a little CSS and extra razzmatazz as you
possibly can.

2) When done, save the page *not* as e.g. "marketing.html" but as e.g.
"Free furcoats" or whatever you want in the mail's subject line.

3) Upload all images to a remote webserver and change the links in the
page accordingly, from e.g. "images/image.jpg" to
"http://www.mysite.com/images/image.jpg".

4) Send out the mail with Outlook or whichever software you have. If you
have OE, you might check their own homepage for instructions if
dwfaq.com doesn't come online within short..
