Can't quite figure this out... I have a template, top and bottom are non-editable repeating, middle is an editable region. When I create a new page from the template and I go to draw a layer (in standard mode) somewhere on the page, an error says the "making this change would require unlocking the code locked by a template or translator, change will be discarded" A work around is do Insert / Layout Objects / Layer from the pull down menu and it pastes one in that I can move it around fine. Just can't figure out why I can't draw it in the first place anywhere on the page if its designated as editable. Any suggestions? Thanks! Frank |

You have to create an invisible editable region in the main template, here. /* Start editable region */ p>layer pad</p /* end editable region */ /body That will propogate to all pages made from the template. frank wrote: Can't quite figure this out...
