It's strange - it doesn't work in Dreamweaver preview mode (IE6) but is OK in Netscape 7.1. Online it doesn't work in IE6 but is OK in Netscape 7.1 - but the hand/alt text doesn't appear.

It's just a simple hotspot. The pointer appears fine in IE6. Furthermore,
the alt text is NOT supposed to be displayed in any browser (unless you have
images turned off). IE6 happens to get this wrong.

I added the hotspot because I couldn't get the whole image link to work. If I take awy the hotspot element I cannot get the link to work in IE6, either when in DW preview or on the internet.

This works for me in IE6 (without the map). Not sure what you think is
wrong.
