DW4 or DW2004?

Are you talking about the default *WEB PAGE* font, or the default DESIGN
VIEW font?

The former can be done by editing the default file used for every new page
when you use FILE | New, while the latter can be done using EDIT |
Preferences > Fonts....

Another quesrtion while I'm here...
DW default font has serifs - yuk. I'm constantly changing it to Arial
etc.
Can't find a way of changing the default, which would seem the logical
thing to
do - as in Word you change the Normal style.
Can it be done in DW (4)?
Thanks

Thanks.
I meant the webpage font (mainly). So you change it each time in Properties,
before starting on a page. That's not too bad I suppose but you'd think there'd
be a global change to the default. Who uses serif fonts on websites ????

No - you add an embedded stylesheet in the default file that is used as a
skeleton for every New file created by DW. Personally, I wouldn't do it,
but if you want to you can.
