thanks for your message. I stopped and restarted IIS and I am connected to the
internet and it still is asking me to download the file when I try to view it
in a browser. Anybody else have this problem?

Does a normal ASP page work?

yes, a normal asp page works and aspx pages work just fine as long as I don't
connect to a database and connect datasets. I know the dataset connections I
create in aspx pages are okay because they are fully operational when I use
web.matrix

Have you deployed the sites files?

I have deployed the dreamweavers ctrls.dll into the bin folder of the wwwroot. but I have not deployed any other files.

if you have put the controls in the correct location then you have reached
my limit of experience with Dreamweaver and .NET my only other suggestion
would be to reinstall the .NET framework.
