How do I anchor a table so that it will keep the formating regardless

I think you might want to take care of a few things at that site:
1) You have no doctype declaration. Look here:
http://www.alistapart.com/stories/doctype/
2) You need to set the margins of the page. Since you're using CSS a bit
already, do this: New style -> Re-define html tag -> Choose the body tag
in the drop down menu -> Box -> Margins -> Set zero in all four boxes.
Then go to Modify -> Page Properties -> Set zero in all four boxes that
are about margins.
3) You table is 831 pixels wide, which is about 60-70 pixels too wide to
fit into the width of most people's browser windows.
4) The height attribute for the table, 600px, is deprecated, so you can
take it away all together.
5) You have a table construction with a bunch of empty cells and colspan
tags. Look here: http://www.vendel.info/tabletut/
6) Since you're already using CSS, use that to control the fonts. The
font tags you are using now is actually deprecated (even if they're
working in every browser I know of). CSS will give you MUCH better control.
7) You have Monotype Corsiva as the only font option in the menu. If a
user doesn't have that font in his system, the menu will get his default
font. You might want to add some more font options.
