Wedding list RSVP with DW MX

Am new to DW Mx. This is the situation: My friend is getting married and
I would like to set up a site so that people can RSVP if they are coming
to the wedding. We will need to know who is coming (names, addresses and
contact info) and how many (adults, kids etc.)
Once the info is entered on the website, I would like for a copy of the
info to be emailed to the bride's mother.
I have *never* done anything like this, but think this is possible using
DW Mx. Can anyone *please* point me to a tutorial. The website
(depending where hosted) may or may not have php. Can it be done with
either php or without php.
