Default Question... - 07-02-2008 , 12:29 PM

Is it possible to run Dreamweaver from Vista x64, when you have installed it on
Windows XP x64?

Cause I am running several partitions one of them contains Windows XP x64
installation and one of the other partitions contain Windows Vista x64.
Normally I work from Windows XP x64 and I play games in Windows Vista x64. But
I decided to give Windows Vista x64 a go concerning Dreamweaver, etc.

Do I have to install Dreamweaver as well on Vista x64 in order to get it
running, or is there some trick to use the Windows XP x64 installation also in
Vista (without reinstalling everything)?

I already tried running Dreamweaver in Vista x64, but it said the following:

[Q]You cannot use this product at this time. You must repair the problem by
uninstalling en then reinstalling this product.........[/Q]

Of course I am not interested in reinstalling it... So is there a workaround
to get the Windows XP x64 installation of Dreamweaver working in the Vista x64
installation?

You need to install Dreamweaver on the Vista partition as well if you wish
to run Dreamweaver from Vista.
