Q: Rollover images

Hi,

I've got a website created in an old version of Dreamweaver (version 3 from
memory) which has some rollover images using the in-built "Insert Rollover
Image" option. Most are navigation buttons that 'highlight' when pointed at
and a couple are swap images when pointing at a text link on the page.

On some web browsers these work fine, while on others they don't work at all
(all have the script options turned on). Does anyone know a reason that
could cause this?

For example, they work fine in the old Internet Explorer on my MacOS 9
computer, but refuse to work in the Windows Internet Explorer or Windows
FireFox, nor do they work in Safari on a brand new Intel iMac.

They do *sometimes* work when running from a local hard-disk or CD, but not
from the web-hosted files ... and yet all the files are definitely on the
server and named correctly.
