Default Is PVII newsgroup up? - 08-03-2003 , 12:54 AM

I can access the Projectseven web site but not the newsgroup forum. Is the
forum back up yet OR did Mark break it again with those dumb doggy videos?

Hey Al, curious if you're using your own DNS or one outside CW. I'm able to
get to my sites via IP but not via DNS.

Thanks,

Dan

Yeah, I was able to log into my server, and my guess is they're not letting
all DNS through yet. My DNS logs are a mess from DoS...

Weirdness.... when I Ping www.projectseven.com from the command line it
resolves to 216.64.211.226. However, trying to hit that with IE or
Mozilla
tells me the page can't be found. On the East Coast.... sigh. Got my
hope
up for a bit.

It might take awhile to propagate through out the net again,
I'm on cable so,, it came up quickly.
I know you are to Robert, can't understand why you don't see it unless Al
did change the DNS and it hasn't hit your ISP yet.

Al's using an external DNS server as far as I can tell (dnsmanaged). I run
my own DNS server inside the CW network so they may still be either blocking
DNS traffic, or as you said, changes kicking back in.
