Default property inspector panel - 07-07-2004 , 08:21 PM

I have Dreamweaver 6.0 installed on my G-3 (old Lombard, 333 mz) laptop running
10.2 and on my G-4 1000mz running 10.2.6. The property manager panel on the
G-3 has 4 buttons for text alignment. The property manager panel for the G-4
does not. I can still align text with the drop down menu. This problem has
been driving me nuts, I'd like the work areas on both computers to be the same.
I've searched these forums and Macromedia and can't find a solution. I'm sure
I am missing something obvious, can somebody tell me what?

What is the number of pixels from left to right on each screen (hint - what
is the screen's width in inches times the screen's resolution in pixels per
inch - width)?

I sure don't know. The display resolution on the G-3 laptop is set to 1024 X
768, it will also do 800 x 600. The G-4 is hooked to a 17" Apple LCD display.
Changing the display resolution on either computer has no effect on the
property inspector panel, I have tried them all at one time or another. I
guess I'd have to visit Apples web site to find out how many actual pixels each
display has, unfortunately, I am at work right now and the firewall will not
let me out.

1024 = 1024 pixels.

Here's the thing. Running DMX on an 800 pixel wide display will cause the
Property inspector to be truncated on the right. Can you upload a screen
snap of what you are seeing on that system?

Thanks to your request to upload screen captures I have been able to answer my
own question. I took the screen capures and was looking at them side by side
and I noticed an icon next to the format drop down menu. The icon toggles back
and forth from html mode to css mode. The G-3 was set to html and the G-4 was
set to css, setting t he G-4 to html fixed my problem. So it was something
simple and now I feel like a dumb-ass. Thanks....
