product search in dreamweaver

I am looking to do a product search in dreamweaver, is this possible?

I'd like to have a text box, and the user to write in a product code in this
box, if the user types in the product code correct then it jumps to the section
where that product code resides in my site.

Any response welcome

I don't know if you can make it so it "jumps to the section where that
product code resides in my site.". But you can make it open as a link to
the page in question.
There's a pretty vast variety of ways to make local search engines,
depending on which script kanguahge your host supports and which is
suitable for you considering other factors. Go look at e.g.
www.hotscripts.com, or test the free one at www.atomz.com

If you use atomz search it is intended for static page, and you'll have to
spend bulk of money for dynamic page one.
(sorry, this is as far as I know)
But have you tried using the built in master detail page in dw?
