Default Problems uploading - 11-14-2005 , 11:04 AM

Hi,
I tried to update a site and while I can make changes to html text and see the
changes the new banners don't upload.
I've clicked the refresh button many times.
I even made a new page and tried to upload but still only certain pics get
uploaded.
What am I doing wrong? This is very weird.

DMX04/XP

Thanks,
Alex

Just now, I am having the same problems. I'm on OSX Tiger, which was just
installed. Was working fine before the new operating system. What are you
running on?

I can connect fine to the server, how about you? Is the file transfer really
slow?

I'm getting a background file activity complete, and the status bar grows and
the file appears to start uploading, but it doesn't upload, and one of my web
pages is showing up as blank on the server. It's not good.

Hi,
Yes, I have Norton and Webroot. The other day I started having major league
popup problems,etc.
I'm new to XP from Mac so this didn't make it any easier.

I thought that if it showed a broken link symbol then I would know it was my
dumb mistake (still could be
but nothing.

I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Alex

Hello again to anyone who is reading this...
Now for some reason when I add a pic I can see it but when I click F12 it
isn't visible.
This might shed some light on this weirdness.
Any ideas?
Thanks for any.
Alex

Hi,
I dissabled Norton but that didn't fix the snag.

When I go to Manage Site>Testing Server> it shows :
Server model: None
Access: FTP
Host Directory is blank
Also...Use Passive FTP,Firewall and Secure FTP are ALL unchecked.

Additionally, when I attempt to upload and F12 I get a window:
Update Copy Of Testing Server?
This will update the file on testing server.
This might affect others working on the file, proceed? and then I click Yes.

I hope this helps, thanks.
Alex

Hi Murray,
I tried to e-mail you but it came back. Today has been weird, I even have to
sign in with each reply.
I can't get anything done until this snag gets fixed. I know you've heard
this a thousand times.
Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks,
Alex
