problems with popup menu with template

Please, I need somebody to help. I am a beginner using DW so I would be
grateful if somebody could answer my question in very simple terms.
My problem is that I am trying to build up a site with several pages that
share the same pattern and they also share several buttons with pop up menus.
When I try to turn a page into a template and then build the rest of the pages
taking this template as a starting point, the links of the pop up menus stop
working.
Again, I would be very grateful if you could help

The DW/FW pop-up menus will not work as you wish with templates. I would be
much happier if these abominations had never been put in the product. There
are much better ways, but when you say you are a beginner to DW, I'm
guessing you are a beginner to HTML as well - am I right?

You are right, I am a beginner to html too. Anyway, i have seen, in the links
you gave me with your reply, something called pop menu magic. Would you suggest
this programme in my case? If not, what? I had already designed the site using
popup menus. Perhaps I would better forget using templates?

I see no reason for you to abandon something as useful as templates.
